PARA.MAR’s in-person and virtual residency programs involve a series of curated movement classes, repertory sessions, and guided dialogues. Offerings are designed to foster artistic growth as well as a fellowship that extends beyond the duration of the program. Past participants include Loyola University, Baltimore School of the Arts, and Haven Dance Sanctuary.

 
 

Baltimore School for the Arts | Where the Arts Change Kids’ Lives

Stephanie Martinez and rehearsal director Noelle Kayser spent countless hours of rehearsal under the direction of department head LE Halm Hamilton to teach the young dancers of BSA several segments from kiss. in their beautiful brownstone. It was their first time back since March 2019!! 16 dancers. 3 students from our film and visual storytelling department captured it all.

 
 
 
 

Loyola University | Preparing People to Lead Extraordinary Lives

The residency was comprised of ensemble work from founder and director Stephanie Martinez’s kiss., assisted by Noelle Kayser, of PARA.MAR Dance Theater. Loyola's Department of Fine and Performing Arts presented the culmination of the residency as part of its Senior Solo Showcase in celebration of the Dance program's Class of 2021.
